Payment
Payment terms, accepted methods and any available payment arrangements are set out in your contract. Where services and supplies are purchased in advance of need, the money is held in trust as Ontario law requires and is not released to the cemetery until the services are delivered.
Financial assistance toward burial costs is available to those who qualify. Ontario Works may cover a social service interment for eligible recipients; ask your funeral director or contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
Things this price list does not cover
- Funeral home services — visitation, transfer, embalming, casket. Billed by the funeral home.
- Cremation — performed at a licensed crematorium, not here.
- The monument itself — normally purchased from a monument dealer. We charge only for foundations, installation and inspection.
- Flowers, clergy honoraria and obituaries.
